Kaweco Classic Sport fountain pen, white

The Heidelberg pen manufacturer Koch, Weber & Co. founded in 1883 made the city the center of the German pen industry in the late nineteenth century. This is even thought to be where the world s first felt-tip pen was invented in 1911.
The famous Kaweco Sport series in a convenient pocket size first appeared in 1910 and continues to be sold today in a slightly updated version.

The Sport fountain pen comes with a medium-sized gold-plated steel nib with a tip made of iridium. When the cap is attached to the top, it brings the total length of the fountain pen from 10.5 cm to 13 cm.
